A Passion for Changing Lives
I am honored by the trust my patients and families place in my team and in me. Caring for someone’s smile, making it healthier and even more beautiful, is a big responsibility. I take that responsibility seriously and am committed to providing the highest level of care to each patient.
I am, at heart, a people-person. I enjoy meeting new people and building relationships with them. I’m always happy when a patient starts feeling relaxed with me, sharing stories about their life, adventures, and dreams.
Spending my days helping people I care about change their lives is a remarkable thing. My work doesn’t feel like “work” to me: being in the office means being surrounded by smiles. What could be better?
Education and Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Science Mechanical Engineering, Marquette University
- Doctorate of Dental Medicine, University of Florida
- Orthodontic school, University of California San Francisco
Orthodontics is a continually evolving discipline. The changes in treatments, materials, and technology can all benefit my patients, but only if I’m aware of them. By participating in numerous continuing education classes, I’m able to remain current on these changes.
Throughout the year I attend lectures, seminars, and conferences. I also avidly study the latest research papers that are published in dental and orthodontic publications. My patients rely on me to provide the most up-to-date care options, and I’m dedicated to exceeding their expectations.

Supporting the Community
I believe part of my professional responsibility involves helping our community. My practice has supported cancer fundraisers, along with 20 sports teams and clubs. We also partner with South Ocala Elementary School.
Originally from Maywood, NJ, I have lived in Florida for 40 years, and Ocala has been my home for 15 years. Spending time with my wife, Kay, is a priority when I’m not caring for patients. I also enjoy time with my son Rob, his wife Amber, and their sons, Noah and Erik, as well as with my son Tim, his wife Becky, and their children, Kason and Emma. My grandchildren are wonderful! My family also includes Sprite, our dog.
I enjoy keeping active and love skiing and boating. I’m also a sports car enthusiast.
By the way, I’m a Leap Year baby. I love telling patients that I have had fewer birthdays than they’ve had!
